Uber Partners With NASA To Launch Flying Cars In 2020
Uber wants to make flying taxis a reality in 2020 and has enlisted the help of NASA to get there.
The transportation technology company signed an agreement with NASA to create a brand new air traffic control system to support their forthcoming electric drone-like flying cabs titled, UberAir service.
Last week, Uber's chief product officer Jeff Holden told CNN the four-person ridesharing flights won't become a reality anytime soon but there are plans to demo around Los Angeles in 2020.
