D.C. Celebrity Sighting: Eat, Drink And...BILL MURRAY?!
Bill Murray Was All Over Washington D.C. Last Week Being, Bill Murray (aka Awesome).
And in case you had any qualms, I’m here to reassure you that Bill Murray is the MAN.
Bill Murray was in Washington D.C. last week to present the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor to David Letterman at the Kennedy Center.
Earlier into his trip, while hanging out outside the Kennedy Center, TMZ obtained footage of Murray agreeing to sell autographs for cash donations to help raise money for Hurricane Maria relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
The following day, Murray took a short trip outside the District of Columbia to go golfing in Virginia with another familiar face, former president Barack Obama.
The "Caddyshack" star and Obama apparently spent the entire day at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington. Obama has been spotted at the country club several times in the past few months since becoming a member in May.
Murray was later spotted grabbing dinner at the fancy-shamncy Le Diplomat wearing taran overalls...yup, you read that correctly.
After ordering the escargot, steak frites and downing a couple of martinis, he was photographed dancing in the kitchen with the chefs.
His post kitchen dance party plans? Murray hit up Black Jack across the street and was apparently having deep conversations with a couple of lucky patrons at the bar.
The following night, Murray was spotted once again, wearing the same overalls from the night before, in Capitol Hill at the “Restaurant High” event, where he apparently bonded with workers from Taylor Gourmet.
According to the Washingtonian, the bond was so strong Murray offered to help make sandwiches at the opening of Taylor Gourmet's new Chicago location.
You are Awesome, Bill Murray.
